This book is eye opening in the greatest sense. Everybody should be knowledgeable on the opioid crisis America has found itself in. And to gain that knowledge, everybody should read DOPESICK: Dealers, Doctors, and The Drug Company That Addicted America. I thought I knew about the epidemic but I clearly didn’t know enough. This book had me in tears and wondering in angry amazement how doctors/pharmaceutical companies are able to get away with what they are doing! This a non-fiction book and your heart literally aches knowing that these people are very real and this crisis is very real. I hope that more and more people will read it and discover exactly what is going on and what we can do to stop it. DOPESICK has a 4.2 rating on GoodReads.
