Another one of my recent favorites! The main character in this novel immediately has you under her spell. The imagery Owens provides makes you feel as though you are right there in the swampy marsh watching everything happen with your own eyes. This novel is filled with heartbreak, love, perseverance, and hope. Hope can be dangerous but it is required in this book. Where the Crawdads Sing has a 4.5 rating on GoodReads.
