Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

I just finished this book a few hours ago and I am still in awe. You know that feeling when you finish a really emotional & amazing novel…and you just don’t know what to do with yourself? That’s what I am feeling right now! Me Before You does is centered around the controversial of euthanasia/assisted suicide. It contains one of the most beautiful love stories that I have read about in a modern/recent novel. With this novel, you will laugh, cry, and gain a desire/hope to do something more with your life.  Once you pick this one up, you’ll have a hard time putting it down or thinking about much else! *PLUS* it has two sequels. I am going to start, “After You” tonight!

“Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.

What do you do when making the person you love happy also means breaking your own heart?”

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes has a 4.3 rating on GoodReads. And I completely agree with that rating!
