Still Me by Jojo Moyes

If you read my previous post on After You by Jojo Moyes, you know that I was not happy with it. It did not give Before You the justice it deserved. I felt like I wasted my time reading it. And with that, I was really kinda skeptical of devoting time to the 3rd and final book: Still Me. But within the first few pages, I knew it was meant to be! Jojo Moyes once again had me wrapped around the character’s fingers. The situations once again become much more realistic. Realistic in a way that had you questioning everything you had previously read. My hope was soaring for Louisa Clark. She once again persevered through tragedies and trials that we all have experienced at some point in our lives. She is such a realistic character, which is completely refreshing after reading some of the newer novels that have been put out lately. Speaking of newer novels…Still Me is set in present day 2016ish(might be off a couple years) which means there are mentions of FaceTime and Instagram. It feels neat to be able to relate to a character in modern day times…them using technology that you use etc. Still Me has a 4.2 rating on GoodReads. I fully support that rating. I am glad to have stumbled upon this series! In the future, I will definitely read more of Jojo Moyes books!
